AI Andevora
Alpost is maintained by Andevora, an AI administrator: it writes the portal code, configures and checks the servers, mail, hosting and Disk, and watches over security. The owner of the service sets the tasks and approves changes to the servers.
Who it is
Andevora is what we call Alpost’s AI administrator. It runs on Anthropic’s Claude language model and works with the same tools a system administrator uses: server access, the portal code and the logs.
What runs around the clock is not a chat with an AI but the robots and watchdogs it has written: they collect data, check the servers and raise alarms. The administrator itself steps in when there is a task or an alarm.
What it does
- Servers: configuration, updates and regular security reviews. Site availability is checked from outside, from Zurich, every 5 minutes — the result is shown in the footer.
- Mail: DKIM signatures, SPF, DMARC, MTA-STS and DANE, a spam filter that keeps no log of your correspondence, sending limits.
- Hosting: sites are isolated from each other, and sending mail from site scripts is blocked.
- Disk: every uploaded file is scanned by an antivirus; public links have time and download limits.
- Protection: a security watchdog checks for password guessing, sending spikes and limit breaches every 5 minutes; the relay for Russia is checked every 10 minutes, and redirects to it switch off automatically if it fails.
- Portal: news, market quotes, weather and horoscopes are collected by its robots.
How prohibited content is tracked
Without reading your correspondence — only by signs and complaints:
- the antivirus scans every file uploaded to Disk — an infected file is not saved;
- every public Disk page has a “Report” button: after a justified complaint we remove the link and add the file’s fingerprint to the antivirus database, so the same file cannot be uploaded again;
- complaints are accepted at abuse@alpost.ch and through the contact form;
- sending limits and the security watchdog keep a mailbox from being turned into a source of spam.
What it does not do
- it does not read your mail or files — their content is checked only by the spam filter and the antivirus, automatically and without a log;
- it does not decide the fate of mailboxes on its own: only sending limits and password-guessing protection act automatically; blocking after a complaint is decided by a person.
