Invoice generator
Fill in the details and download a ready PDF in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Hindi or Arabic. Free and without registration.
Runs in your browser: the tool’s code contains no sending of what you enter. The tool opens in a separate frame from office.alpost.ch: the rules of that page (CSP) forbid fetch, XHR, WebSocket and beacon requests, and the browser blocks loading anything from third-party addresses — only the tool’s own files from office.alpost.ch are loaded. See for yourself: developer tools (F12) → Network tab.
How to use it
- Choose the «Invoice» document type, the currency and the PDF language.
- Fill in the seller, the client and the lines with goods or services — totals and tax are calculated for you.
- Click «Download PDF». You can remember your details in this browser or save them to a file, so you do not have to type them again next time.
What the generator does
Number and dates, seller and client with tax numbers, a table of items with quantity and price, tax at any rate — added on top or already included, a note such as «Reverse charge», payment details, logo and a comment. For euro payments you can add a SEPA QR code (EPC, GiroCode) that European banking apps can scan.
PDFs come in nine languages. Hindi uses Noto Sans Devanagari with all conjuncts (क्ष, त्र, the reph र्) and vowel signs; Arabic uses Noto Sans Arabic with properly joined letters, right to left: the table, the details and the totals are mirrored, while numbers, phone numbers, amounts and Latin words inside Arabic text keep the right order. The Hindi and Arabic fonts are loaded only when you pick that language.
Where your data is kept
Only in your browser. The PDF is built on your device. If you tick «Remember my details», they go to this browser’s storage for office.alpost.ch and stay there; to move them to another computer, use a JSON file.
Questions and answers
- Is it free?
- Yes. No registration, no watermarks and no limit on the number of invoices.
- Is such an invoice valid for accounting?
- The generator helps you fill in the usual invoice details, but requirements differ from country to country — check yours. In Germany, business-to-business invoices must be e-invoices (XRechnung or ZUGFeRD) from 2027–2028, and a PDF does not replace them.
- Which currencies can I use?
- Swiss franc, euro, US dollar, pound sterling, rupee, dirham and a dozen more; the currency code is printed next to every amount.
- Can I make a Swiss QR-bill here too?
- Yes: choose «Swiss QR-bill» — the payment part with the QR code is added at the bottom of the invoice.
- The generator does not open — what can I do?
- You need a browser with JavaScript enabled. Ad blockers sometimes block embedded frames — allow office.alpost.ch.
